Chintakayala Ravi audio to hit markets today

Venky’s ‘Chintakayala Ravi’ is going at a brisk pace since the makers are planning to release the film on October 2 (i.e.,) Gandhi Jayanthi day. The film is directed by Yogi and produced by Nallamalapu Srinivas. Venky portrays the role of software engineer who goes to the US in search of job. The film is being treated with full of entertainment values. Anushka and Mamta Mohandas will share the screen with Venky. Vishal Sekhar (Om Shanti Om fame) has composed the music and the audio is releasing today i.e., September 12th through Aditya Music.

Chintakayala Ravi -Culture conflict twist

A tense atmosphere ruled over the rich rural house set at the Nanakramguda Ramanaidu studios. Lead actors Venkatesh, Anushka and Mamata Mohan Das are in the company of Lakshmi and Chandra Mohan. Director Yogesh is in conversation with the seniors as the hero and the two heroines listen with rapt attention. A little distance away were spotted comedians Brahmanandam, Sunil, Venumadhav, Raghubabu and Srinivasa Reddy. In another corner Shayaji Shinde and Pradeep Shakthi are waiting for their turn to add pep to the proceedings.

Yogesh is shooting the climax portions of Chintakayala Ravi produced by Nallamalapu Srinivas a.k.a Bujji. Yogesh too has a nickname – Yogi. There is a tag line to the title that reads ‘software engineer’ and that explains the hero’s characterisation.

In all there are about 38 well known actors participating in the climax, the director says . Must be a heavy climax then? He smiles and without revealing the content says that the climax has emotional moments. Veteran at the game of emoting highly charged scenes, Lakshmi revels in her role as she delivers an emotionally charged dialogue. Venky reacts with subdued histrionics. After a couple of takes, the director is satisfied with the performances. Cinematographer Ravindra Babu too seems to be pleased with what he had shot. His assistants position the camera and the circular trolley for the next block in the intriguing climax. Yogesh feels that though he had directed a film earlier, this one gave him the opportunity to hone his skills. “Working with Venkatesh is a great learning experience. Lot of scope for on the sets improvement without any fixed notions leaves room for more creative output. It is great to have an experienced producer by your side. Naturally one derives more job satisfaction,” Yogesh is all praise for his lead actor and Bujji. The title may sound funny or old-fashioned, but like all recent Venky films, Chintakayala Ravi too is a slickly made stylish film as the locations and the ambience chosen to shoot are of any indication. The director agrees that it is a very stylishly made film. “Opulence is the right word. I mean it is a visual treat with a very superior quality. The tone, the texture and the treatment are way away from the regular movies. Most part of the movie was shot in U.S.A. where the hero goes on a job and meets the one of the heroines (Anushka) an NRI,” Yogesh stops as the shoot recommences. One could gather from the scene that Lakshmi and Chandramohan act as parents of the hero. Mamata Mohan Das is brought up in the village. While one heroine (Anushka) looks at things from the Western view point, the other (Mamata Mohan Das) views them from a very Indian and traditional way. The clash between the two ideologies ran undercurrent to the climax. Now the two antagonists Shinde and Pradeep join the fray while the comedians watch with interest. The emotions run high.

Add to that Vishal-Shekar’s background score, you have an engrossing climax. “But the film on the whole is a light and breezy entertainer with all the navarasas," smiles the director after okaying the shot and packing up for the day. As we move, he adds that Vishal-Shekar gave six peppy numbers of which one is to be shot in Hyderabad. “Venky has worked with almost all the top music directors in the South. So we went for this Bollywood duo who gave us new sound and melody.” The film is due for release during Vijaya Dasami.

Great expectations

The cast and crew of the Venkatesh-starrer Chintakayala Ravi are all set to return from the US, having wrapped up the over two-month long outdoor schedule. Now, the action will move to the picturesque backwaters of Rajamundry for the second schedule. Yogi is directing the film in which Venkatesh is playing a software engineer. Anuskha and Mamta Mohandas are playing the female lead in the flick. Venkatesh has been on a roll with three straight hits —Lakshmi, Aadavarimatalaku Ardhale Verule and Tulasi. Given that his films do not release with the same fanfare as some of his contemporaries, the feat is that much more creditable. With a track record like that, this film will surely be expected to do well.

Chintakayala Ravi audio in September 1st week

Venky’s ‘Chintakayala Ravi’ has come to the final stages. Currently shooting is taking place at Ramanaidu cine village at Nanakramguda, Hyderabad. The producer of the film Nallamalapu Bujji said that the climax scenes on the main cast are being picturised at present, after which the shooting will come to an end by filming a group song on Venkatesh, Anushka and few comedians. He added that the audio launch would be in the first week of September as the release of film is planned for October 2.

Along with Anushka, Mamatha Mohandas also shares the screen with Venky. Venky portrays a software engineer. Since Venky has got good timing in comedy and also enjoys doing it, this film is no exception. Directed by Yogi, the film has some soothing music rendered by Bollywood music director Vishal Sekhar (Om Shanti Om fame).

Venky's 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum' starts in October

Venkatesh who is busy with shooting 'Chintakayala Ravi', expected to join with director Radhakrishna's second directorial venture 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum'. The shooting schedule of the film begins from October 1st week and expected to be finished with in three months. It means Venky will have two releases with in a very short span of 180 days. After their successful combination in Aadavari Matalaki Arthale Verule, for the second time, Venky and Trisha paired in this movie. The film contains another female role but yet to finalise the actress.Producer Ashwini Dutt along with D Suresh Babu produces the flick and the later also presents the movie.

VICTORY VENKATESH (Public)

Daggupati Venkatesh (Venky) has everything at his disposal that a debutant-actor dreams about. A producer-dad popularly known as 'Star Producer' Dr D Rama Naidu is doyen of Tollywood, a brother as a mega producer D Suresh Babu and their production company has completed 100 block-blusters made in all regional languages within a span 35 years and entered into Guinness book of records. But yet, he was a reluctant to the tinsel world.

Venky after obtaining an M B A in the U.S., returned to look after the family business. But destiny willed otherwise and on the advice of his father, he took to acting.
Very few film stars will have the luck of giving a super hit with their first film. The lucky star Venki is twice lucky because not only his first film ‘Kaliyuga Pandavulu’ but also his first Hindi film 'Anari' was a super hit.

Venky, macho, handsome and brawny, has not only luck favoring him but also has an inherent talent which seems to flower film after film. Non controversial, casual, calm and charming, he is all that and more.
With three hits in the last year, he is now the hottest star. What makes him so unique among the prosaic bunch of stars and starlets is his amazing versatility and ability to adapt to any kind of role.
Having donned a variety of characters from that of a lover boy in 'Preminchukundam Raa' to the dual role of a father and son in 'Suryavamsam' and that of an intense and socially conscious journalist in 'Ganesh', Venkatesh has been able to get kudos both from the classes and masses. He also has a natural streak of comedy in him, which revels his admirers ranging from puny little kids to adoring adolescents and appreciating adults. It’s his commitment towards his work and uncompromising audacity in venturing into the risky and the slippery plots that catapulted him to the abode he now occupies among the all time greats.

From the regular masala movies to meaningful roles in other commercials, Venky has come a long way. Today he is one actor who is in the top bracket in Telugu cinema, to defy the viscid word called 'image'. Take his recent films, 'Intlo illalu vantintlo priyuralu', 'Pavithrabandam' apart from ofcourse the award winning films 'Darmachakram', ‘Ganesh’; they are without the gimmicks or fiery fights. We don't see the angry young man as he was known earlier, but as a man next door. And the trend continued with block busters such as 'Preminchukundam raa', 'Premante Idera', 'Raja', 'Jayammanadera and 'Kalisundam Raa' which is the biggest hit in 70 years of Telugu Cinema.

Riding high on the crest of success both as an artiste of caliber and as a box-office.
